Mountain Horse to Silverton

Riders in the Mountain Horse from Purgatory will tour the 25 scenic miles from Purgatory Resort to Silverton, CO. Ride the pass of the San Juan mountains and conquer Coal Bank Pass followed by Molas Pass before you head into Silverton, you’ll tackle more than 992 Meters of vertical climb to finish among food, fun, and festivities in Silverton.

This point-to-point tour is great for beginner riders or families who want to participate in all the exuberance of the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic by completing the mountain horse.

Registration Information:

If you register on or before May 1st you will receive your bib number in the mail. If you are a local rider (zip codes 81301, 81302, 81303, 81122), International rider, or registered after May 1st, you will pick up your bib number at Buckley Park located at 1250 Main Avenue, Durango from 1pm to 7pm on Friday May 23rd.

$10 of your entry fee is donated to numerous community organizations.

All registrations are final. NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS.
If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, there will be no reimbursement, rollover, or postponement unless otherwise noted when completing online registration for the event.
